                                                                        Introduction

Standard gain horn antenna OLB-28-20 WR-28 is also known as a waveguide horn.
This WR-28 standard gain horn antenna has a 20 dB nominal gain and a square cover flange. Our 20 dB WR-28 horn antenna has a minimum frequency of 26.5GHz and a maximum frequency of 40GHz.
Standard gain horn waveguide antenna OLB-28-20 has a vertical beam width of 18.3 and horizontal of 16.7 degrees at 3 dB.

The Ka band ("kay-ay band") is a portion of the microwave part of the electromagnetic spectrum defined as frequencies in the range 26.5–40 gigahertz (GHz),i.e. wavelengths from slightly over one centimeter down to 7.5 millimeters. The band is called Ka, short for "K-above" because it is the upper part of the original NATO K band, which was split into three bands because of the presence of the atmospheric water vapor resonance peak at 22.24 GHz, (1.35 cm) which made the center unusable for long range transmission.

The 30/20 GHz band is used in communications satellites, uplink in either the 27.5 GHz and 31 GHz bands, and high-resolution, close-range targeting radars aboard military airplanes. Some frequencies in this radio band are used for vehicle speed detection by law enforcement. The Kepler Mission uses this frequency range to downlink the scientific data collected by the space telescope.

FAQ

1.What kind of interface do I need ?
We recommend coaxial interface if the SGH frequency below 50GHz. If the frequency up to 60GHz , we highly recommend use waveguide interface.

2.What kind of coaxial interface do you have?
There are kinds of coaxial interfaces ,they are divided by the difference of the frequency.
DC – 18GHz usually we use SMA or Nconnector.
DC-26.5GHz usually we use SMA or 3.5mmconnector.
DC-40GHz usually we use 2.92mm or 2.4mmconnector.
DC-50GHz usually we use 2.4mm or 1.85mmconnector.
DC-67GHz usually we use 1.85mm or 1mmconnector.
UP to 67GHz usually we use 1mm connector.

3.What is the price difference between the antenna with waveguide to coaxial connector or without the waveguide to coaxialconnector.
There are two kinds of price about the antenna with waveguide to coaxial connector or without the waveguide to coaxialconnector. We will give you two kinds of prices.

4.What is the naming convention for standard gain horn antennas?
The horn antenna is named after the waveguide international standard type and the horn antenna gain, for example: OLB-42-10 Among them, 42 represents the WR-42 standard waveguide, 10 represents the horn antenna gain is 10dB.

5.What is the highest frequency of standard gain horn antenna?
At present all the standard horn antenna maximum frequency to 220GHz
